On May 6, 2026, at the Lao Electric Institute Building, EDL-Generation Public Company organized a training program under the theme “Party Inspection, State Inspection, and Anti-Corruption Prevention and Suppression.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr Phoutthavanh Nanthavong. Party Inspection, Chairman of Party Inspection of the Ministry, the Director General of the Inspection Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce
The training session was honored by remarks from Mr. Souksavart Sosouphanh, Managing Directors of EDL-Gen, with participation from department directors, employees, and trainees of EDL-Gen.
The program aimed to enhance understanding of inspection procedures, monitoring systems, and anti-corruption measures in order to improve operational efficiency and organizational transparency.
EDL-Gen recognizes that inspection and auditing are among the key mechanisms for promoting transparency, accountability, and discipline in organizational management.
The training also provided an opportunity for staff members to apply the knowledge and lessons learned to their daily work practices, contributing to the development of a more comprehensive and modern internal inspection system within the company.
Furthermore, EDL-Gen reaffirmed its commitment to continuously strengthening and improving internal inspection standards in line with the policies of the Party and the State, with the goal of building a high-quality, transparent, and sustainable organization for the future.
During the training program, participants also visited Nam Ngum 1 Hydropower Plant, one of the hydropower projects managed by EDL-Gen, to gain a deeper understanding of the company’s business operations and hydropower management activities
