EDL-Gen provides operation and maintenance (O&M) services through its subsidiary, EDL-Gen Operation and Maintenance Service Co., Ltd. Its business has three purposes:

To operate and maintain power plants and power substations of EDL, EDL-Gen and private companies.
To form joint ventures with Lao or foreign private companies for O&M services in Laos and overseas.
To provide O&M human resources to state and private companies.
