The Second Session of Nam Ngum 1 HPP to Be Certified by ISO 14001:2004 EMS Standards
Nam Ngum 1 Hydro Power Plant, which is one of the dams owned by EDL-Generation Public Company or EDL-Gen, was granted a renewal certificate of ISO 14001:2004 EMS (Environmental Management System) for another three years.
The handing over ceremony took place on 8th April 2015 at Nam Ngum 1 HPP in Vientiane province.
Representing EDL-Gen and Nam Ngum 1 HPP was honored to receive the certificate by Mrs. Rattana Prathoumvan, Deputy Managing Director of EDL-Gen; and it was handed over by Mr. Ho Yoon Sin, a representative of the consulting company from Malaysia. The handing over ceremony was attended by Dr. Khammany Inthirath, Vice Minister of Energy and Mines; and other invited guests were also attending the event.
Nam Ngum 1 HPP was ISO 14001:2004 EMS certified for two terms of the year of 2011 to 2013 and from the year of 2014 to 2016.
