On August 5, 2026, EDL-Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) held its official meeting to summarize work performance for the first six months of 2026. The meeting was conducted at the main conference hall of Électricité du Laos (EDL) and via Video Conference to ensure broad participation.
The session was presided over by Mr. Souksavart Sosouphanh, Managing Director of EDL-Gen with the attendance of the directors, department managers, directors of hydropower plant managed by EDL-Gen, subsidiary companies and relevant technical staff.
Key highlights of the meeting included:
• Performance Evaluation: Reviewing the achievements of various sectors over the past six months.
• Strategic Planning: Discussing the Action Plan for the remainder of the year to ensure all corporate goals are met.
• Problem Solving: Addressing pending issues and proposals to streamline operations and increase efficiency across the organization.
In his closing remarks, the Managing Director provided strategic guidance, urging all employees and management to collaborate closely in driving EDL-Gen toward its targets and contributing to the stability of the nation’s energy sector.
