Because “care” is an essential energy… On January 23, 2026, EDL-Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen), together with the management of Nam Khan 2-3 Hydropower Plants and local authorities of Xiang Ngeun District, visited and distributed winter essentials to the residents of Ban Phu Xang, Luang Prabang Province.

Ban Phu Xang is located in a high-altitude area, facing cold temperatures during this season.

Driven by a spirit of sharing, EDL-Gen employees collectively launched the “Warmth Giving Project Year 1” to provide relief and bring smiles to the community living near our hydropower operations.

The donated items include:

• 120 pairs of Gloves

• 240 pairs of Socks (for children and adults)

• 100 sets of Children’s Sweaters

• 85 Blankets

• 5 bags of quality Second-hand Clothes

• Milk and Snacks for local students

The handover ceremony was led by Mr. Inpan Borihane, Acting Director of Administration Department at EDL-Gen, along with his team.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and gratitude from both the givers and the recipients.

Though the monetary value of these items may not be immense, they represent the ‘heart’ and ‘sincerity’ of our employees.

We hope this small gesture helps ease the cold and provides encouragement to everyone in Ban Phu Xang.
