On 10 November 2025, in Vientiane Capital, representatives of EDL Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) and CS Tech Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly develop key energy projects.
This signing marks the beginning of cooperation in two main areas:
- Development of Floating Solar Power Projects in hydropower reservoir areas.
- Development of Carbon Credit Projects.
Participants at the signing ceremony included:
- From EDL-Gen: Led by Souksavath Sosoupanh, Managing Director of EDL-Gen
- From CS Tech: Led by Seo Dong-myeong, Managing Director of CS Tech
This collaboration represents an important step in enhancing the efficiency of hybrid power generation (Hydro-Solar Hybrid) and strengthening EDL-Gen’s role in carbon trading. It contributes to the promotion of green and sustainable socio-economic development in line with the nation’s environmental goals.
