EDL-Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) headquarters organized a training session on “Fixed Asset Management System and Accounts Payable System” at the Lao Electricity Institute, Electricite Du Laos in Vientiane Capital from September 11-12, 2025.

The training was chaired by Mr. Khambay Luangxay, Deputy Managing Director and CFO of EDL-Gen, in collaboration with Akard Solution Co., Ltd., the system developer.

The session, led by the Accounting Department, aimed to modernize the organization step by step by strengthening technical expertise among both headquarters staff and technical personnel from the 13 hydropower plants managed by EDL-Gen. The focus was on strengthening the use of technology in accounting practices to support the company’s modernization and timely reporting.

The development of these systems is intended to establish centralized data connectivity, enabling effective tracking and monitoring of fixed asset movements and accounts payable. Integrated with the existing accounting system used for daily operations, the systems help the headquarters and hydropower plants under its management consolidate accounts more efficiently and meet reporting deadlines.
