On August 6, 2025, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of EDL Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen).

The agreement was signed between representatives of EDL-Gen and ASFC Co.,Ltd. to jointly develop solar power projects in the areas of Xeset 1-2, Xeset 3, Xelabam, and Nam Mang 3 hydropower projects, with a total installed capacity of 15 MW.

The signatories for this agreement were Mr. Souksavath Sosouphanh, CEO of EDL-Gen, and Ms. Melinda Vilaysouk, CEO of ASFC Co.,Ltd.

Representatives from both organizations were present to witness the signing.

This project marks an important step in promoting clean and renewable energy production, strengthening the country’s energy system.
