On August 11, 2023, Mr. Soulivath Souvannachoumkham, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, together with the leadership of the EDL-Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) handed over learning and sports equipment to the students of Samakixay Village Primary School, in Xieng Ngern District, Luang Prabang Province.

Attending the handover ceremony this time was Mr. Bounphet Phounphon, deputy governor of Chiang Ngern district. Mr. Vanhseng Vannavong, Acting Managing Director & Acting CEO, Local Government Authority, Chiang Ngern District, Luang Prabang Province, EDL-Gen employees and students

The equipment that was delivered this time includes: Educational and sports equipment such as books, bicycles, footballs, sports kits, etc., totaling 18 millions kip.

The equipment given this time is to promote and help students to have learning materials and sports equipment to keep their bodies strong.

The activity of handing out school equipment and sports equipment today is one of the activities that EDL-Gen does on a regular basis every year along with the business of producing electricity.
