Mr. Duangsy Pharanhok, Managing Director of EDL-Generation Public Company was elected as one of 19 new Party Committee of Ministry of Energy and Mine at the third Congress of Ministry of Energy and Mine held in Vientiane during 11-12 November 2021.

The congress was conducted in the measurement to prevent Covid 19 disease to ensure all participants healthy from the virus.

The event was chaired by Dr. Daovong Phonekeo, member Party Centre Committeem Party Secretary and Minister of Energy and Mine. The congress was also attended by attended by Dr. Sonexay Siphandone, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning and Investment. as well as 226 participants, who represented 1,036 party members of the ministry.

In the congress, the participants elected the new Party Committee of Ministry of Energy and Mine while Dr. Daovong Phonekeo was elected as the Party Secretary, Mr. Thongphat Inthavong as the vice Party Secretary and Ms. Chansavath Boupha as President Audit of the Ministry.

Mr. Duangsy Pharanhok was officially appointed as Managing Director of EDL-Gen since July 2020. Earlier he was a deputy managing director of Électricité du Laos
