EDL-Gen holds Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting No.1/2020

EDL-Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) held the Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting No. 1/2020 at Electricité Du Laos (EDL) in Vientiane on July 24, 2020.
The meeting was chaired and implemented by Dr. Khammany Inthilath, Chairman of Board of Directors of EDL-Gen, Minister of Energy and Mines, with the attendance of the EDL-Gen’s Board of Directors, shareholders and invited guests.

The main purpose for the meeting was to Adopted the Minutes of the Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting for the year 2019, Adopted the appointment of new Managing Director (CEO) and Deputy Managing Directors in replacement of the former retired Managing Director (CEO) and Deputy Managing Directors, Adopted the appointment of new Vice Chairman and Director of the Board of Directors in replacement of former retired Directors, the determination of authorised persons who can sign to bind the Company, and the term of office of the Board of Directors and Adopted the amendments to the Company’s Articles of Association, namely Article 9: Directors and Article 12: Board of Directors.
