EDL-Gen organizes Arbor Day

EDL – Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) hosted a ceremony to plant trees and releasing fish on May 31, 2019 in Thoulakhom district, Vientiane province to mark the National Arbor Day on June 1^st, 2019. Around 650 trees were planted and 20.000 fingerlings were released in the area around the conservative pound of Nammang 3 Hydropower Plant, with the aim to beautify the place and preserve environment as well as biodiversity around the dam for sustainability.

On this occasion, the company handed over educational and sport equipment for four primary schools including Phoukhao Kuay Mai, Nam Yam, Phoupaman and Vang Huea villages to apply for their school’s activities.
