EDL-Gen attend Inauguration Ceremony for Nam Ngum–1 HPP Expansion project Unit 7- 8 (80MW) Organized by: EDL

EDL-Gen management members attend the inauguration ceremony for Nam Ngum-1 Hydropower Plant (HPP) Expansion project Unit 7-8 (80MW) was held by Electricite Du Laos on May 28, 2018 in Keo-Oudom district, Vientiane province. Attending the ceremony were government officials including Ministry of Energy and Mines, related ministries, provincial authorities, representatives of Chinese Ambassador to Laos, Électricité du Laos, EDL-Generation Public Company, Dongfang Electric International Corporation and invited guests both domestically and internationally.

The National Arbor Day was held after the inauguration ceremony, more than 50 big trees were planted around the power house and 20.000 fingerlings was released to downstream area of the expansion project Unit 7-8 (80MW).
