Staffs of EDL-Gen support education for students with disabilities

Board of Directors as well as staffs of EDL-Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) handed over 30 millions kip for Education for Development Fund (EDF) to support education and give opportunity for students with disabilities.
The fund was raised by EDL-Gen’s board of directors, staffs of EDL-Gen as well as staffs who work at EDL-Gen’s hydropower plants including Nam Ngum 1, Nam Mang 3, Nam Leuk, Sexet 1-2, Selabam, Nam Song, Namsana, Namkhan 2, Huaylamphan Ngai and Sexet 3.
The handing over ceremony took place at EDL-Gen headquarter in Vientiane Capital, on 8 August 2017. In this significant occasion, Ms Rattana Prathoumvan, Managing Director of EDL-Gen, Mr.khamhian Inthava, President of EDF-LAO alongside with officials from both sides together joined the handle moment.
The fund will be applied to purchase new educational equipment and uniforms for about 530 students in Vientiane capital and Vientiane province.
