Official Launch of ISO 9001:2015 International Standard Quality Management System

EDL Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) officially Launched ISO 9001:2015 International Standard Quality Management System, which is the new standard system on July 24, 2017. EDL-Gen was awarded ISO 9001:2008 International Standard QMS in 2014.

The Key changes in the requirements include: Leadership and commitment, determination of external and internal issues of the organization, fulfilment of the needs and expectations of interested parties and risk-based thinking. The revised standard, also known as the New Standard, was published by ISO Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland on September 15, 2015.

EDL-Gen has committed to be a leading company in the power generation not only in Lao PDR but also in ASEAN. However, to achieve this, we need to work hard together as a team. After launching the new standard, EDL-Gen staffs, who nominated an internal quality auditor, participated in training course for ISO 9001:2015, were presented certificate from consultant of DAYA MANUSIA SDN BHD.
