Representatives from EDL-Gen attend Laos International Power Summit 2017

Representatives from EDL-Generation Public Company attended Laos International Power Summit 2017, co-organized by Ministry of Energy and Mines and The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vientiane from 22-23 June 2017.

Around 200 participants and 40 experts from energy sectors from Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Europe and USA participated the event.

The summit was chaired by Dr. Sinava Souphanouvong, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines. The purpose this significant event is to gathering and opening the opportunity for government officials, policy makers, electricity entrepreneurs, state enterprise, private Investors and service providers to exchange the experiences about market development on energy in the region, the industrial challenges, and how to support the industrial sectors in the region for the future development.
