EDL-Gen Signed Cooperation Agreement of 912 MW Pak Beng Hydroelectric Power Project

The Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony in Respect of 912 MW Pak Beng Hydroelectric Power Project between EDL Generation Public Company and China Datang Overseas Investment Co.,LTD that held on 7^th Sep 2016 at EDL Head Quarter. This project is located in Pak Beng District, Oudomxay Province in the Northern of Laos. Pak Beng Hydroelectric Power Project is a run off river dam, it is not only generating electricity but also benefiting to the river transportation. The normal water level in the reservoir is 340 meters, the installed capacity is 912 MW and the generating per year is 4775 million kWh. Pak Beng Hydroelectric Power Project could support social economic development of Lao PDR and creates job opportunities for local people as well as the upgrading the livelihood to have a better option.
