EDL-Generation public company arranged the ceremony for National Fish Release and Wildlife Conservation’s Day

Ministry of Energy and Mines, in cooperation with EDL, EDL-Gen and EGAT had held the ceremony on the occasion of National Fish Release and Wildlife Conservation’s Day on the 13^th of July, at the conservation zone of Namngum 1 reservoir, Keoudom district, Vientiane province. In addition, it was also the ceremony of the important occasions of:

• 107^th Former President Souphanouvong’s Birthday
• The 10^th anniversary of Ministry of Energy and Mines
• The 55^th anniversary of Electricite Du Laos
• The 5^th anniversary of EDL-Generation Public Company
• The 45^th anniversary of Namngum 1 Hydro Power Plant

The 100,000 fingerlings have been released, including 1.045 giant catfish species that supported by Sirikrit hydropower plant, EGAT.
